In the beginning of 2014, I worked for a couple of months at British Gas, focusing on the UX/UI for the Home Move process and an experimental user dashboard that could consolidate customer data and energy saving options in one place. Here are some of this designs.



The problem

Users needed to access different areas of the website to find information regarding their account, on a complicated and lengthy journey.

The solution

To create a dashboard where users could quickly check their accounts, edit their info and change their settings on a quick, dynamic way.


HomeMove Checklist

The problem

The Home Move process was a lengthy and complicated journey and British Gas needed a way to ensure users that they had everything they need to move on.

The Solution

To create a dynamic checklist that could ease the users mind and point them in the right direction in case something was wrong.


Home Profile

The problem

Ordering a smart meter wasn't an automated process, requiring users to talk to call centres to book installation and listen to their options.

The design

The solution was to create a quick, simple way for booking and selecting your package.
